At our school chapter, our family and consumer science is the Early Childhood Education (ECE) class. Charity Masters is Southeast Bulloch's early childhood education teacher, as well as our FCCLA chapter adviser. Mrs. Masters teaches her students about essential information in ECE and FCCLA. Mrs. Masters spends a full unit promoting and teaching her students about FCCLA. She has multiple bulletin boards promoting FCCLA. When our school hosted the eighth grade transition day (a two-day event where the middle school students come to learn about high school courses and opportunities), our chapter promoted early childhood education and FCCLA. This prepares students for career readiness and helps to convince them to join FCCLA when they begin high school.
